• Pampa Award:
• Basava Puraskar:
It is a national award given by the Government of Karnataka to individuals for their contribution in bringing about social reforms and social change and for promoting religious harmony. Named after the renowned philosopher, poet and Lingayat social reformer Basavanna, the award carries a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh along with a memento and a citation.
Basava Puraskar was first awarded in 2000 to Saraswathi Gora, a social reformer who campaigned against untouchability and caste system.

• T Chaudaiah National Award:
T. Chaudaiah National Award is instituted by the Karnataka government in the field of instrumental music. The award is presented to a senior artist of the national level who has rendered exceptional service in instrumental music (Carnatic or Hindustani). The award is named after the renowned violinist from Mysore T. Chowdiah who achieved extraordinary feats in playing the violin and was popularly known as ‘Pitelu Choudaiah’. The award carries cash prize of Rs 10 lakh and a citation.

• Gubbi Veeranna Award:
Named after Gubbi Veeranna, one of the pioneers of the Kannada theatre, this award is given for excellence in theatre (plays and acting). It was originally established in 1993 by the Karnataka government in memory of theatre legend Dr. Gubbi Veeranna. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh along with a plaque and shawl.

• Varnashilpi Venkatappa Award:
